CompatibilityYour Android TV or box must support network ADB debugging, with debugging enabled and authorized. Being online alone is not enough. Compatibility varies by model and firmware. Samsung Tizen, LG webOS and Apple TV are not supported.

Yes. On Android 10+, both full-screen and single-app casting can share audio when the playing app permits capture. Single-app selection limits only the picture: other apps may be audible, so pause other playback. The microphone is not captured. Protected content may be black or silent.
Phone casting sends your phone screen to the TV. TV mirroring displays your TV on your phone. TV mirroring and recording each have a 3-minute session limit. Live phone casting has no such limit, but depends on the system, network and phone staying unlocked.
