FAQ

A few things to know first.

Clear compatibility details for a smoother first connection.

Compatibility
Will it work with my TV?

Your Android TV or box must support network ADB debugging, with debugging enabled and authorized. Being online alone is not enough. Compatibility varies by model and firmware. Samsung Tizen, LG webOS and Apple TV are not supported.

Is NATNT Assistant free?

All current features are free. There is no account, advertising, membership or subscription. The website focuses on downloads and practical guides.

Can phone casting include sound?

Yes. On Android 10+, both full-screen and single-app casting can share audio when the playing app permits capture. Single-app selection limits only the picture: other apps may be audible, so pause other playback. The microphone is not captured. Protected content may be black or silent.

How is phone casting different from TV mirroring?

Phone casting sends your phone screen to the TV. TV mirroring displays your TV on your phone. TV mirroring and recording each have a 3-minute session limit. Live phone casting has no such limit, but depends on the system, network and phone staying unlocked.
