Start with the same local network and a TV that supports network debugging.

Device or feature	Requirements and scope
Phone / tablet	Android 8.0 or later. iPhone is not currently supported.
TV / box	Network ADB debugging must be available and enabled. Support varies by model and firmware.
Network	The same local network. Guest networks and access-point isolation can block connections.
Audio and single-app casting	Permitted audio capture requires Android 10+. Single-app picture selection typically needs Android 14 QPR2+.
Not supported	Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, Apple TV, internet remote control or bypassing DRM.
Device differences	Capabilities depend on the phone OS, TV firmware and network. End-to-end S23 use, additional TV firmware and long transfers still need further validation.
