Your devices. Your data.
This information covers NATNT Assistant for Android 0.6.1 and NATNT.com.
What the app stores
Saved devices and debugging identity stay on your phone. The identity is encrypted and excluded from cloud backup. The app keeps titles of the last 30 operations, without entered text or pairing codes. There are no accounts, ads or analytics SDKs, and no screen or file uploads to NATNT cloud services.
Screen sharing and permissions
Every live casting session needs system consent. Full-screen sharing can include visible notifications; single-app scope is chosen in Android's picker. Playback audio capture may request recording permission, but does not use the microphone. Stop sharing or revoke permissions at any time.
Files and recordings
Live phone casting does not save a screen recording. TV screenshots and recordings are saved in private app storage for preview, export or deletion. Uninstalling removes unexported copies. Photo and video casting stores a temporary copy on the TV, cleaned up when finished. After interruption, reconnect to clean registered leftovers.
TV companion components
First use of phone casting installs NATNT Cast Receiver, which operates over authorized ADB. Chinese input requires enabling NATNT TV Input. You can uninstall the receiver or switch back to your previous keyboard in TV settings.
