Connect your TV and open Remote. Switch between direction and number panels for the task at hand.
Directions and everyday controls
Confirm sits in the center, with power, voice, menu and TV settings at the corners. Back, home, delete, volume and mute sit below. Hold a repeat-enabled key for continuous input; release or move outside the key to stop.
Numbers and channels
Tap the nine-dot icon to open numbers 0–9. The buttons on the right become channel up/down. Tap again to return to directions and page controls. The foreground TV app decides how to handle numbers and channels.
METV adaptation
When METV (package com.metv.tv) runs in the foreground, channel buttons send its supported up/down commands. Other apps keep standard channel commands. Forks with a different package name may not match this adaptation.
Voice and power
Voice opens a supported TV assistant or search entry point. Use the TV or physical remote microphone. Wake requires an online TV with working debugging access. There is no phone microphone forwarding or infrared control.
